Grzegorz Wróbel
My name is Grzegorz Wróbel and I want to teach you how to draw and paint with watercolor.
I was born in Poland in Warsaw and I am an architect by education.
Parallel to my studies at the Warsaw Polytechnic, I practiced as an assistant and then as a teacher of drawing and watercolor painting.
I have been doing this for 20 years both in regular stationary courses and workshops also abroad and in online form since 2020.
I am the creator and author of one of the most popular online watercolor courses in Poland.
All the time I also develop and deal with my own work which results in numerous individual and group exhibitions also abroad.
My crown and beloved technique is watercolor that is why I have been a member of the Association of Polish Watercolorists (SAP) since 2013.
I am known for my cityscapes of Warsaw, Gdansk, Prague or Vienna and panoramas of other famous European cities.
But in my work you can also find mountain landscapes, portraits, or surrealist compositions.

I am invited to and not rarely take an active part in art festivals related to watercolor like the 21st European Watercolor Symposium in Cracow in 2018 or the Biennale of Watercolor in Brioude, France in 2017 and 2019.
I actively participate in plein-air painting and drawing events in Poland but also in Italy, France, Spain or Austria.

Watercolor courses
However, in addition to creating, my other passion is passing on my knowledge of drawing and watercolor painting and this is what I want to teach you in my courses !
Over all these years of teaching classes, courses and workshops, I have learned that it is very important what is taught on them but even more important what not to teach !
Because at certain stages of learning, too much theory can interfere more than help. There is also some information that is worth skipping in general. You need to be able to find a balance between theory, organizing it and practice.
In my lessons, I will focus only on what is relevant without going too deep into theory.
And on how to paint correctly, rather than focusing on mistakes.
I want to teach you to paint and not to repaint, to draw and not to redraw !
